Rossano Scontini began his career as a craftsman in 1967.
The advent of wallpaper first, and then carpeting, saw him become a pioneer in the world of interior finishes.
The years of the economic boom, combined with his creativity and surprising communication skills, led to exponential personal and corporate growth. This journey took him from a first shop to a distribution warehouse, from hospitality contracts to partnerships in multiple companies (rugs, furniture, mirrors, etc.), culminating in his appointment as president of the then GIDRI (Italian Group of Interior Finish Distributors) in the second half of the 1980s.
His outstanding qualities, above all “his extraordinary human vitality,” made him highly esteemed by clients, professionals, and colleagues throughout Italy until his passing (ref: “Rifiniture d’Interni” August, 1998).
A special thanks to a remarkable person, my father, and to the “silent” pillar of the company and our lives, my mother.
Today the company, led by his son, continues the tradition and passion for carpeting and interior finishes in general, providing meticulous work for various types of clientele: retailers, professionals, and hospitality contracts.
A further thank you to all the clients and collaborators who, first with my father and now with me, have helped write our history.
